What we collect

• Email address, for signing in. We send a sign-in link to it, no passwords.
• Club selection, the club you chose, so the page is personalised for you.
• Kirjautumisloki, when you signed in and from which IP address. This is security: if someone tries to guess emails or send links in bulk, we notice.
• Reaktiot, what you react to (e.g. 🧤 safe hands). This is community data, not private.

Your email and team choice are needed so we can keep track of your membership and show you the right content. The sign-in log is a security measure; we do not sell or share your data with anyone.

Where the data lives

Your data lives in Cloudflare's D1 database on Cloudflare's global infrastructure. Cloudflare is a US company; if the exact storage location of your data matters to you, email us and we will find out for you. We use no advertising or tracking analytics (no Google Analytics, no Facebook Pixel). How we count visits is described below.

Visit counts

We count page views ourselves so we know what gets read and where readers come from. Each page load adds one to a daily total that records the page address, the domain of the site you came from (for example t.co or google.fi, never the full address) and the share-link channel (for example X or WhatsApp). We store no IP address, no cookie and no identifier, so no individual reader can be told apart in the total.

Sign-ups are counted the same way: the total records only where you first arrived from (domain and share channel). Your browser keeps this in its own storage for 30 days and sends it to us only when you sign up, and it is never linked to your email address.

In addition, Cloudflare Web Analytics measures page load speed and visits without cookies. Its script loads from Cloudflare, so Cloudflare sees the request. If you do not want to be counted, you can block the script in your browser settings and the site works the same.

We do not sell, rent or share your email with third parties. The site carries no advertising. We send no marketing emails, only sign-in links and the messages you have explicitly asked for.

Send email to hello@signals.football and request account deletion. We remove your email, club choice and sign-in log data. Reactions remain visible as community data, but without a link to you.

Cookies

We use one cookie (signals-session) that keeps you signed in. It is HttpOnly, JavaScript cannot touch it. The cookie goes away when you sign out or when it expires (30 days).

Changes to this page

If we change our privacy practices, we update this page and notify signed-in members by email.
